Theater and Performance Photography

I love the Performing Arts and the challenges that they present when it comes to capturing moments on film. I am a sucker for a good musical and  I find myself singing the songs for weeks afterwards. I also often find myself moved and changed by a beautiful dance or a thought provoking play, or my spirit restored by a great comedy performance, and while I do not have the skills to be the one on the stage doing the entertaining, I have spent years learning the craft of shooting photos in dark environments, without a flash, with fast moving objects. 

I seek to capture all the special moments, from those that speak to a pivotal part of the story, or spark ripples of laughter through the audience, the sweet tender moments that resonate with our humanity, to those that find everyone working together to make a visual feast for our eyes or ears. 

As I have served with various local Theater and Dance Programs over the years and provided for their various Photography needs, from Head Shots, to Senior Banners, to Publicity Photos as well as Vinette Photos for their Programs,  I have been blessed to be a small part of making the magic of live art happen and preserving a piece of it for years to come 

Cancer Care Photography

As a Mom I am also acutely aware that cancer affects the whole family, so I also offer photography sessions for the children of parents facing cancer—whether it’s a joyful family photo shoot, a chance to dress up and feel seen, or a milestone like Senior Portraits. These sessions are part of my pay-it-forward system, ensuring that children navigating this journey have moments of celebration, connection, and lasting memories captured with care.
